Nikšić Set for Transformation with Big Fashion Mall

The arrival of Big Fashion to Nikšić heralds new jobs, housing, and a transformative retail experience for the Montenegrin town

Nikšić, a town in Montenegro often overlooked on the global map, is poised for a major transformation.

At the 46th International Tourism Fair in Belgrade, Mayor Marko Kovačević unveiled plans for a groundbreaking project: the construction of a Big Fashion shopping mall.

A collaboration with the Israeli retailer, which already runs prominent malls in Podgorica, the new center will not only reshape the local economy but also create an entire new neighborhood, “Sunny City.”

This ambitious venture will address pressing housing needs for municipal employees and boost local employment, with an estimated 200 to 300 jobs.

The influx of global brands accompanying Big Fashion promises to make Nikšić a hub for future investments.

Kovačević expressed confidence in the project’s potential to propel the town into a new era, remarking that it would invigorate both the economy and community.

In an effort to strengthen ties with investors, the mayor will travel to Tel Aviv next week to attend the grand opening of the world’s largest Big Fashion center.

Nikšić is set to become a key player in Montenegro’s retail revolution.
