Montenegro CFO Association Elects Its First President

Damir Ivaštinović appointed to lead the newly established CFO Association as AMM strengthens its leadership with digital transformation experts

The Association of Managers of Montenegro (AMM) has taken another step in strengthening its role as the country’s leading business leadership organisation by appointing Damir Ivaštinović as the first President of the CFO Association of Montenegro and expanding its Presidency with the election of Ivan Šoć and Dr Dražen Raičković.

The establishment of the CFO Association marks an important milestone in bringing together chief financial officers and senior finance executives from Montenegro’s leading companies and institutions. The initiative has been supported by major organisations from the banking, energy, insurance, telecommunications, tourism and financial advisory sectors.

Dražen Raičković

Ivaštinović, a Member of the Management Board of Erste Bank Montenegro responsible for finance and risk management, brings more than 17 years of international experience within Erste Group, having held CFO, CRO and COO positions across several Southeast European markets.

The founding session of the CFO Association is scheduled for early July, when members will confirm the organisation’s structure and define its strategic priorities.

Ivan Šoć

At the same meeting, AMM elected Ivan Šoć, Founder and President of Five Group, and Dr Dražen Raičković, CEO of Finance Plus, as new members of its Presidency.

Their appointment reflects AMM’s strategic focus on artificial intelligence, digital transformation and technological innovation. The organisation believes that modern business leaders must combine financial expertise with technological understanding in order to drive competitiveness and sustainable growth.
