Air Serbia has reintroduced its direct service between Belgrade and Geneva, strengthening travel links between Serbia and Switzerland’s second-largest city.
Starting today, the national airline will operate the route three times a week—on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays—with an additional Sunday flight added in July and August to meet heightened seasonal demand.
Boško Rupić, Air Serbia’s Head of Commercial and Strategy, highlighted the importance of the route for the Western Balkans diaspora in Switzerland, calling the relaunch a step toward “simplifying travel and deepening bilateral ties.”
Ticket sales and strong passenger demand reportedly prompted the expansion.
The route also connects Geneva to a wide network of destinations via Belgrade, including Athens, Istanbul, Vienna, Zagreb, and Tbilisi—positioning the Serbian capital as a strategic hub for travellers across Europe and beyond.
