Minister of Tourism and Youth – Husein Memić and Dejan Damjanović -Director of Agency for the Prevention of Corruption – have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening long-term collaboration in the fight against corruption in Serbia. The agreement focuses on improving preventive mechanisms, increasing institutional transparency, and raising awareness of ethical standards within public administration.
The cooperation includes joint projects, exchange of information and expertise, as well as training programs designed to help identify and prevent corrupt practices.
A key component of the initiative is the active involvement of young people, including workshops in youth offices, debates with school parliaments, and the development of an anti-corruption guide aimed at strengthening integrity and civic awareness among youth.
Officials emphasized that the goal is to build a more resilient system through education and prevention rather than reaction. A joint working group will be formed to develop concrete programs and activities, marking a structured step toward integrating anti-corruption education into broader youth and institutional policies.
