Podgorica Hosts Montenegro’s First-Ever Senior Fashion Show

A heartwarming moment for Podgorica, Montenegro's first senior fashion show took centre stage as part of SENIOR FEST 2024

Renowned fashion designer Seka Martinović’s collection, inspired by Jovanka Broz, was modelled by residents from the local retirement home. Among the models, the oldest, at 92 years old, captivated the crowd, which responded with constant applause throughout the half-hour event.

The audience sang, clapped, and many were moved to tears, witnessing a unique celebration of age and beauty.

The festival also featured a range of events, from fitness activities and free health checks to chess tournaments and modern dance competitions for seniors, making it an inclusive and jubilant occasion.
