Thailand to Lift Visa Requirements for Montenegrin Citizens

Thailand has announced plans to introduce visa-free travel for Montenegrin citizens following an official request from Montenegro

Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul confirmed the country’s readiness to abolish visa requirements for Montenegrin passport holders during a meeting with Montenegro’s Prime Minister Milojko Spajić in Bangkok on 16 October.

According to the Montenegrin Government, the measure will follow the submission of a formal request by Montenegro. No implementation date has yet been announced. The two prime ministers also discussed strengthening tourism cooperation, particularly in medical tourism, and expanding economic ties between the two countries.
