Split Christmas Market 2026: Festive Season Set to Bring Holiday Cheer to Croatia’s Adriatic Coast

The programme is expected to be the city’s biggest Christmas market edition to date, attracting both local residents and visitors from Croatia and neighbouring countries

Split’s Advent programme will run from 27 November 2026 to 6 January 2027, with concerts, family activities and traditional holiday celebrations taking place across several locations, including the Riva waterfront and Prokurative.

The music line-up features a mix of Croatian and regional performers, including Crvena jabuka, Bijelo dugme, Psihomodo Pop, Dalmatino, Silente, Tony Cetinski, Sergej Ćetković and Vatra. Alan Hržica will open the concert programme at Prokurative on 27 November, while Dino Merlin is scheduled to perform on the Riva on 30 December. New attractions will include a panoramic Ferris wheel and a carousel, while the ice rink will return at Đardin.

A nativity scene will be installed inside a geodesic dome in front of Prokurative, and the university campus will host its own Advent events. Children’s activities will include theatre performances, Saturday morning entertainment and the traditional lighting of Advent candles.

The festive programme will continue through Christmas and New Year, with the traditional preparation of bakalar, or salted cod, at the city’s fish market on Christmas Eve. Neno Belan will perform at Pjaca that day, while New Year’s Eve celebrations on the Riva will feature Jelena Rozga and Jakov Jozinović, alongside a daytime performance by Jacques Houdek. The programme will conclude on 6 January 2027.
