Serbia to Join World Trade Center Network by 2026

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (CCIS) is set to join the prestigious World Trade Center Association (WTCA) by 2026, bringing Serbia into a global network spanning 88 countries

The WTCA representative office will be located within the CCIS headquarters in Belgrade, offering companies a central platform for networking and business development.

Marko Čadež, President of the CCIS, announced the move during the United Nations General Assembly in New York, stating that it will position Belgrade and Serbia as leading trade and investment hubs in the Western Balkans.

In addition to securing the WTCA deal, Čadež is working to strengthen Serbia’s international economic ties, with meetings planned later this year with business communities from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tunisia, and Greece.

He also attended the “Serbia Beyond Future” event at the UN, highlighting Serbia’s focus on science, innovation, and its plans for Expo 2027, further showcasing the country’s ambitions on the global stage.
