Marko Čadež, President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, has been elected to the General Council of the World Chambers Federation (WCF), the largest global business network representing over 100 national chambers.
His mandate runs until June 2028. The vote, which saw participation from chamber organisations across 120 countries, selected 20 leaders tasked with strengthening support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) worldwide.
The new Council’s focus will be on boosting access to global markets, driving digital transformation, and fostering innovation.
It also aims to help SMEs better integrate into international supply chains at a time of shifting economic dynamics.
Čadež’s election positions Serbia more firmly on the global business map, giving it a voice in shaping policies that could impact entrepreneurs and exporters across the region.
