Serbia Joins the Global Trade Network

Serbia’s strategic position is set to become a key gateway for international trade and investment as the country opens its doors to the World Trade Centers Association

The Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS) has officially joined the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA), one of the world’s largest networks, encompassing nearly 300 trade centers across 100 countries.

This marks a crucial step in strengthening Serbia’s position on the global trade map.

Marko Čadež, the president of PKS, announced that Belgrade’s World Trade Center (WTC) will be inaugurated ahead of Expo Belgrade 2027, which will serve as a hub for business partnerships and events.

He highlighted the importance of PKS’s membership, citing the successful collaboration with the Dubai WTC, home to the world’s largest technology exhibition, Gitex Global.

John E. Drew, chairman of the WTCA board, welcomed WTC Belgrade into the global network.

He expressed confidence that the new partnership would integrate Serbia into international trade dynamics, boosting business exchanges, educational opportunities, and trade missions.

Drew emphasized that WTC Belgrade would play a pivotal role in positioning the region as a hub for innovation and global commerce.
