Croatia is moving forward with plans to build a new healthcare centre in Dugopolje, marking a significant step in improving local medical infrastructure. The project, led by the municipality, is designed to bring essential health services closer to residents while supporting broader efforts to modernise the public healthcare system.
The centre will be developed in cooperation with the Split-Dalmatia County and is expected to provide a range of primary care services.
Officials say the investment reflects a growing focus on decentralising healthcare, reducing the burden on larger urban hospitals, and improving accessibility for smaller communities.
Once completed, the facility is set to enhance the quality and availability of care in the area, while contributing to long-term regional development. The project underscores Croatia’s continued efforts to strengthen its healthcare network through targeted local investments.
