OTP Bank Brings eGovernment Closer to Citizens

Through a pioneering partnership with eGovernment, OTP Bank now enables seamless access to Serbia's public services, sparing citizens long queues and paperwork

In a major leap forward for digital public services in Serbia, OTP Bank has launched a cutting-edge service allowing its customers to access the full spectrum of eGovernment services without leaving home.

The initiative, unveiled today, integrates OTP’s mobile and online banking applications with Serbia’s eUprava Portal, providing citizens with the ability to generate a qualified electronic certificate in the cloud.

This service, available since January 2025, facilitates secure online transactions and document verification, allowing users to sign and authenticate documents digitally.

In partnership with the IT and eGovernment Office, OTP is offering these activation parameters for free—either in-person at over 1,000 locations or digitally through OTP and Inteza’s banking apps.

Biljana Marić, Assistant Director at the IT and eGovernment Office, explained that the service simplifies the process and saves time, allowing citizens to access essential public services anytime and anywhere.

OTP’s innovative approach is expected to accelerate digital transformation in banking and public administration, benefiting millions of citizens and businesses alike.
