Branko Mitrović to Lead Montenegro’s Foreign Investors Council

The One CEO takes over an organisation whose members generate more than one-fifth of Montenegro’s GDP.

Montenegro’s business community has appointed a new face to one of the country’s most influential investor organisations.

At the annual assembly of the Montenegrin Foreign Investors Council MFIC held in Budva, Branko Mitrović, CEO of One Crna Gora, was elected President of the Council’s Board of Directors.

Representatives of member companies also elected Lesia Vykhodtseva, Chairwoman of the Management Board of Zapad Banka, and Zoran Milovanović, CEO of Mtel, to the Board of Directors.

Mitrović brings more than two decades of experience in the telecommunications sector, much of it in senior leadership roles. He has served as CEO of One Crna Gora since July 2019, overseeing the company during a period marked by rapid digital transformation and growing competition in the market.

He succeeds Tamaš Kamaraši, Chairman of the Management Board of CKB, who led the Council over the past four years. During his mandate, the organisation further strengthened its position as one of the leading voices of the international business community in Montenegro.

Founded nearly two decades ago, the Foreign Investors Council brings together international companies operating in Montenegro and today counts 39 member companies. Together, they generate around 21% of the country’s GDP and employ nearly 6,000 people.

Through dialogue with institutions, policy recommendations and initiatives aimed at improving the business climate, the Council has become one of the key platforms connecting the private sector and decision-makers in Montenegro’s economic development process.
