MFIC Regatta Brings Together Investors, Diplomats and Business Leaders in Montenegro

The annual gathering in Boka Bay highlighted the growing role of business networking in strengthening Montenegro's investment climate

The Montenegrin Foreign Investors Council (MFIC) brought together representatives of international companies, diplomats, institutional partners and members of the business community for its second annual MFIC Regatta, held in the Bay of Kotor.

Opening the event, Branko Mitrović, Chairman of the MFIC Board of Directors, thanked member companies and sponsors for their support, describing the regatta as an opportunity to strengthen connections within the community that the Council has built over the years.

Beyond competition on the water, the event served as a platform for informal dialogue and relationship-building among investors, public institutions and diplomatic representatives. MFIC noted that such gatherings contribute to improving the business environment and strengthening Montenegro’s reputation as an investment destination.

The crew of the yacht Altair claimed victory in this year’s race, achieving the best result on the regatta course in Boka Bay. The event was organised with the support of JK Lahor, Montenegro’s oldest and most decorated sailing club.

MFIC brings together international companies operating in Montenegro that collectively generate around 21 per cent of the country’s GDP and employ nearly 6,000 people, making the organisation one of the most influential voices of the foreign business community in the country.
