InterCapital Securities has become the first Croatian company to join the Budapest Stock Exchange (BSE), expanding its regional presence and strengthening cross-border access to capital markets. The milestone was marked with a ceremonial bell-ringing in Budapest, highlighting the firm’s growing role in regional financial integration.
Headquartered in Zagreb, InterCapital Securities is one of the leading brokerage firms in Croatia and Slovenia and is already a member of the Zagreb, Ljubljana and Bucharest stock exchanges.

The wider InterCapital Group has spent the past 25 years developing investment products, including ETFs focused on Central and Southeast European markets, with the aim of bringing regional capital markets closer together.
The ceremony brought together senior representatives of InterCapital, the Budapest Stock Exchange, the Croatian Embassy in Hungary and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. During the event, commemorative plaques were presented to InterCapital executives, recognising the company’s admission to the Hungarian market and its continued regional expansion.
