In a remarkable achievement for Montenegrin viticulture, the renowned winery “13. jul–Plantaže” has once again captured international acclaim at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2025.
Among over 17,000 entries from 57 countries, the Vranac Pro Corde 2021 clinched the coveted gold medal — adding to its recent accolade as the best wine in the Balkans at a prestigious Greek competition.
This recognition firmly places Plantaže on the global wine map, spotlighting the rich terroir and craftsmanship behind Montenegro’s signature red grape, Vranac.
The winery’s excellence extends beyond this flagship label, with silver medals awarded to Premijer 2017, Vranac Barrique 2021, and the archival Grand Reserve 2005.
Meanwhile, Nota 2024 earned a bronze, underscoring a consistently high standard across the range.
