Sarajevo Airport Sets Record with Over 10,000 Passengers in a Single Day

Sarajevo International Airport achieved a milestone on 22 July by handling a record-breaking 10,404 passengers in a single day

On Monday, 22 July, Sarajevo International Airport experienced a milestone, handling 10,404 passengers and executing 79 flight operations. This impressive figure surpasses the previous record of 7,714 passengers set in 2022.

Sarajevo International Airport acknowledged the dedication of its staff and support services, who managed the increased workload efficiently despite high temperatures and heavy traffic.

This record comes on the heels of an already remarkable June, during which the airport processed 202,515 passengers—an increase of 51,363 from May. June also saw 1,798 flight operations, up by 372 from the previous month.

With these achievements, Sarajevo International Airport continues to solidify its position as a key hub in the region, demonstrating its capacity to handle significant passenger growth and operational demands.
