Croatian Tech Company Robotiq.ai Set to Be Acquired by HCLSoftware for €9 Million

The transaction is expected to be completed by November 2026, subject to customary closing conditions

Croatian technology company Robotiq.ai, a Zagreb-based provider of robotic process automation (RPA) solutions, is set to be acquired by HCLSoftware, the software division of global technology company HCLTech, in a deal valued at €9 million.

Founded in Zagreb in 2018, Robotiq.ai develops software that automates repetitive business processes across enterprise applications. Its technology can interact with existing systems in a similar way to a human user, including applications where APIs are unavailable or insufficient, making it particularly relevant for large organisations in sectors such as banking, insurance and telecommunications.

Following the acquisition, Robotiq.ai’s technology will be integrated into HCLSoftware’s HCL UnO Agentic platform, which is designed to coordinate AI agents and enterprise applications. The combination is intended to allow AI-driven workflows not only to make decisions but also to execute tasks across complex business systems.

Robotiq.ai CEO and co-founder Darko Jovišić said joining HCLSoftware would give the Croatian company greater enterprise reach and scale, while HCLSoftware said the acquisition responds to growing demand for secure and reliable AI-powered automation. The deal marks another international expansion milestone for Croatia’s technology sector, bringing a Zagreb-developed enterprise technology solution into the portfolio of a global software group.
