Temu Booms in Bosnia

Nearly half a million orders arrive since September

The online shopping platform Temu continues its rapid growth in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with nearly 469,000 orders recorded since September, according to the country’s Indirect Taxation Authority (UIO), as reported by Klix.ba.

Sarajevo’s customs office received 72,760 packages, with the lowest declared price recorded at 72.41 KM, while the highest valued shipment reached 1,100 KM. Tuzla recorded 18,000 deliveries, while Banja Luka’s customs office handled the largest volume, receiving 180,850 packages.

Most shipments fall within the 90 to 300 KM price range. However, the UIO noted that a single package worth 590 KM was returned to the sender after the recipient declined to pay customs duties.

The surge in Temu orders highlights a significant shift in online consumer habits across Bosnia and Herzegovina, driven by competitive pricing and growing demand for e-commerce services.
