Norway Brings One Tonne of Food to World Cup

The Scandinavian side reportedly shipped around 1,000 kilograms of food to the United States to ensure players maintain their usual diet during the tournament

Norway’s national football team has attracted global attention after reports emerged that the squad transported around one tonne of food to the United States for the FIFA World Cup. The shipment reportedly included a range of products selected to meet the team’s nutritional standards and reduce reliance on local food supplies during the competition.

While it is common for national teams to closely manage players’ diets at major tournaments, the scale of Norway’s operation stood out. Team officials are said to have wanted to provide players with familiar meals and ingredients throughout their stay, believing consistency in nutrition can play an important role in performance and recovery during the World Cup.
