Croatian Firm Secures Lucrative Deals in Slovenia and Albania Worth Over €27 Million

Dalekovod, a Croatian company, has successfully secured contracts in Slovenia and Albania for infrastructure projects worth over €27 million

Dalekovod, a prominent Croatian company, announced that it has secured contracts for significant projects in Slovenia and Albania, with a combined value exceeding €27 million.

In a consortium with the Slovenian company ENS, Dalekovod’s Slovenian subsidiary, Dalekovod d.o.o. Ljubljana, has inked a deal with Slovenia’s national grid operator ELES. The contract, valued at €14.5 million, involves the construction of the DV 2x110kV Hudo – Kočevje power line. This extensive project entails the demolition of the existing line and the erection of a new 31.2-kilometre line, which will consist of 111 two-system transmission towers.

Work is scheduled to begin in June this year, with completion expected by January 2026. The majority of the construction will take place near live power lines, necessitating meticulous planning and coordination to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the existing energy transmission system.

Additionally, Dalekovod has partnered with the construction firm 4A-M SHPK to sign another contract with the OSHEE Group, the Albanian distribution system operator. This agreement involves constructing a new 110/20kV transformer station and its associated distribution network, further strengthening Dalekovod’s position in the regional energy infrastructure sector.
