Held over three days, the conference featured a wide-ranging programme of panels, keynote addresses, presentations, lectures and book discussions, covering key security and policy issues facing the region and the wider international community.
The event’s leadership highlighted the depth and expertise of this year’s participants, describing the Sarajevo Security Conference as the premier security and policy forum in Southeastern Europe.
Particular emphasis was also placed on the young staff and volunteers behind the conference, whose work was described as central to its success. From managing stages and technical equipment to supporting speakers and attendees, the organizers said their contribution represents the human capital and future leadership behind the conference.
The SSC has grown significantly over the past five years, establishing Sarajevo as an increasingly important meeting point for policymakers, security experts and representatives from across the Euro-Atlantic community and Eurasia.
