The new buses are part of a broader investment in cleaner and more sustainable urban mobility, aimed at reducing emissions and improving the quality and efficiency of public transport across the Croatian capital.
The expansion of the electric fleet will help Zagreb reduce its reliance on conventional diesel buses while supporting the city’s long-term environmental and climate goals.
The investment is also expected to improve the passenger experience, with newer vehicles offering more modern technology, greater comfort and quieter operation compared with traditional buses.
The introduction of the 62 vehicles represents another milestone in the electrification of ZET, Zagreb’s public transport operator, as the city continues transitioning toward a more sustainable and environmentally friendly transport system.
