The eighth edition of Trag u beskraju (Trace Into Infinity), the annual festival dedicated to the life and music of legendary Croatian singer Oliver Dragojević, will take place in Vela Luka on the island of Korčula from 26 to 31 July. The event commemorates Dragojević, who died in 2018, in his hometown through a week of concerts and cultural events.
The festival will open with a concert aboard the Jadrolinija ferry sailing from Split to Vela Luka before continuing with a packed programme that includes performances by leading Croatian artists such as Petar Grašo, Nina Badrić, Matija Cvek and Marko Tolja.
The traditional centerpiece concert on 29 July will be held on a floating stage in Vela Luka and broadcast live on national television.
Alongside the concerts, visitors can enjoy book promotions, performances by young musicians, poetry recitals and a humanitarian football match. Organizers say the festival has grown into one of Croatia’s most significant musical events, celebrating not only Dragojević’s timeless songs but also the cultural heritage and community spirit of his hometown.
