Belgrade Hosted AIability 2026 Conference on the Future Of AI

The two-day international gathering has brought together leading experts to discuss how artificial intelligence is reshaping work, education, leadership and diplomacy.

The Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs had a two-day AIability 2026 international conference in Belgrade, bringing together prominent Serbian and international experts in artificial intelligence, science, higher education, industry and public administration. The event was opened by Nemanja Grbić, Director of the Diplomatic Academy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The conference focused on the growing role of artificial intelligence in shaping the future of work, education, leadership, as well as cultural and scientific diplomacy. Participants had an opportunity to explore how AI can enhance human potential while addressing the challenges posed by rapid technological change.

Among the speakers there were distinguished professors and researchers from leading US academic institutions, including The Wharton School, Harvard Medical School, Rutgers University, George Washington University and University of South Florida.

The keynote address was delivered by Borja Petkowski, a professor at the Wharton School and internationally recognized expert on leadership, sustainable development and the AIability concept. He presented his vision of developing human capabilities in the age of artificial intelligence, emphasizing the importance of combining technological innovation with human-centered leadership.
