We Bring Life to Complexity

Serbia has experienced significant changes and achieved progress on its road to the European Union (EU) over the past 12 years.

During that period, Serbia has implemented various economic reforms aimed at improving its business environment, attracting foreign investment and strengthening its economy. These reforms have included fiscal consolidation, the privatisation of state-owned enterprises and improvements in the area of the rule of law. Serbia has implemented considerable steps in order to improve its legal framework, fight corruption and enhance the independence and efficiency of its judiciary.

Despite progress, Serbia still faces several challenges on the road to EU membership. These include the need for further reforms in areas such as the rule of law, media freedom and the fight against corruption. The pace of progress depends on Serbia’s further ability to implement required reforms and meet EU standards.

Together with our international offices and our clients, we share the tax, economic and financial challenges of everyday life and in complex situations

At LeitnerLeitner, we bring life to complexity – meaningful partnership is the best foundation for all questions – in private life, in business, or when considering a new vision. That’s why, together with our international offices and our clients, we share the tax, economic and financial challenges of everyday life and in complex situations.

As such, having international expertise and offices throughout the region and around Europe is advantageous for many reasons. This is firstly because our local knowledge ensures that we have a deeper understanding of local market dynamics, cultural nuances and regulatory frameworks. This local knowledge helps us tailor our services to the specific needs of our clients in Serbia and navigate any unique challenges that may arise. Secondly, having a presence in Serbia and the wider region enables the development of a strong network of local contacts, including clients, partners and stakeholders. And finally, this means that we have access to a broader pool of resources, including talent, expertise and infrastructure. This can support the delivery of high-quality services and enable efficient operations. All these factors have contributed to the success of our company’s operations in Serbia.
