Ariston Commences Construction of New Factory in Niš, Serbia

Italian company Ariston has commenced construction on a €75 million household appliance factory in Niš, Serbia, set to employ 300 workers by 2027 and boost exports to €240 million by 2025

Italian company Ariston has started building a new factory in Niš, Serbia, dedicated to manufacturing household electrical appliances with an investment of €75 million. The facility is expected to employ 300 workers by the end of 2027.

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, Economy Minister Adrijana Mesarović, Italian Ambassador Luca Gori, Ariston Group President Paolo Merloni, and Ariston Group COO Pierluigi Astorino.

Vučić stated at the ceremony that by 2025, the factory’s exports are projected to reach €240 million. “This is a significant and important company for Niš. Ariston, a family company, has an annual revenue of €3 billion, around 10,700 employees, and exports to 150 markets. I am grateful to the family and everyone from Italy who made this decision,” Vučić said.

The 30,000 square meter factory is scheduled for completion in December 2025. Ariston already operates a smaller factory in Svilajnac since 2019.
