Transport and Logistics Conference Set to Address Key Regional Challenges

The 3rd Annual Transport and Logistics Conference will take place on Tuesday, 15th October, bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, and experts from across the region to share insights on building a resilient regional economy

Organised by Confindustria Serbia in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, the Slovenian Business Club, and the Croatian Business Club, this year’s Transport and Logistics Conference is enhanced by the participation of the Hellenic Business Association, further highlighting its regional importance. The event will focus on key topics such as cross-border trade cooperation, intermodal transport solutions, and innovations in sustainable food transportation.

Attendees can expect in-depth discussions on overcoming challenges in logistics, advancing public-private projects, and adapting to the evolving needs of the shipping and manufacturing industries. The event provides an essential platform for networking and collaboration, offering the opportunity to explore how new technologies and strategies can optimise supply chains, reduce environmental impact, and foster sustainable growth across the region.

This year’s conference will be an essential forum for networking, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration. Discussions will focus on shaping the future operations of manufacturers in the region and beyond.

Key Topics:

Regional Cooperation: Participants will explore strategies to enhance cross-border trade, streamline logistics, and overcome challenges. The potential of public-private projects will be discussed as an opportunity to achieve smoother economic operations.
Intermodality Projects: Experts will present groundbreaking intermodal transport solutions designed to optimise goods movement and reduce environmental impact while ensuring the supply chain meets sustainability goals.
Innovations in Food Transportation: While global companies transport millions of tonnes of frozen food annually at the standard temperature of -18°C, this practice established nearly a century ago faces new challenges in today’s world. Both producers and consumers now demand more sustainable practices throughout the supply chain. We will discover how industry is adapting to meet these demands and what innovations are shaping the future of sustainable food transportation.
Logistics and Growth: The evolving shipping industry’s focus on ‘gateway’ ports will be discussed, addressing the technological, infrastructural, and human resource challenges this shift presents.

Who Should Attend:

Industry leaders from transport, logistics, and manufacturing sectors, Policymakers and Government representatives, Supply chain professionals
Don’t miss this chance to stay ahead in the ever-evolving transport & logistics landscape!
The working languages of the conference are Serbian and English, with simultaneous translation provided.
