Croatia and North Macedonia have signed a strategic cooperation agreement designed to strengthen bilateral relations and create a broader framework for future partnership. Officials described the agreement as an important step toward further deepening political and institutional cooperation between the two governments.
The agreement places particular focus on expanding economic and trade cooperation, as well as partnerships in infrastructure development, transport, energy, information technology, cybersecurity and defence.
Additional areas of cooperation include internal affairs, border security and migration management.
Both governments said the new framework reflects growing regional cooperation and shared interests linked to economic development, connectivity and security across Southeast Europe.
