The Video Game History Museum has celebrated its first anniversary with a special event featuring legendary game designer Don Daglow, one of the early pioneers of the gaming industry. Located in Zagreb, the museum has quickly become a popular attraction for gaming enthusiasts, technology fans and visitors interested in digital culture and entertainment history.
Daglow, known for his work on some of the earliest narrative and sports video games, joined the anniversary programme as a guest speaker, highlighting the growing international recognition of the museum and Croatia’s expanding gaming and tech scene.
Since opening, the museum has attracted visitors from across the region and abroad with exhibitions dedicated to the evolution of video games, retro consoles, arcade machines and gaming culture from the 1970s to today. Organisers say the project reflects the increasing cultural significance of gaming as both entertainment and digital art.
