Abysalto Powers Croatia’s Tech Future

A fusion of talent from three tech titans gives birth to Abysalto — a 300-strong software force reshaping the future of digital transformation

Croatia’s technology sector has introduced a major new player with the launch of Abysalto, a software company formed through the merger of KING ICT, Omega Software, and Aktivis.

According to company sources, the consolidation brings together over 300 IT professionals under a unified brand, with strong backing from the KING ICT Group.

Company representatives said Abysalto will offer end-to-end services in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining business information systems.

They noted that the company would place a particular focus on digital transformation in both the public and private sectors, targeting areas such as energy, mobility, decarbonisation, transport, tourism, agriculture, and the management of EU funds.

Executives stated that the unification would improve operational efficiency and boost innovation capacity.

Željko Tandarić, one of the board members, was quoted as saying the move represented an investment in a future where technology drives positive societal change.

Abysalto’s leadership, consisting of Ivica Kujundžić Lujan, Željko Tandarić and Ivica Vidović, reportedly brings extensive experience in running tech organisations.

They explained that the new structure allows for more agile resource management and better client support.

The team added that Abysalto plans to expand internationally, particularly in Europe and the Middle East, and intends to invest heavily in R&D and consulting.
