Celebrating five years in Croatia’s market, Glovo, a versatile platform offering on-demand access to a range of products and meals, has appointed Lorenzo Mayol as its new General Manager.

Glovo, with its extensive network of over three thousand active partners and more than two thousand delivery riders operating weekly, spans across 30 cities in Croatia.

During its five-year journey in Croatia, Glovo has solidified its position as a thriving tech company and a sought-after employer, driven by a dedicated team of over 50 employees ensuring the app’s consistent high performance.

Lorenzo Mayol, known for his wealth of experience in management and business development at esteemed companies like HP, Lime, and Glovo, steps into this role to oversee Glovo’s continued growth and innovation in the Croatian market.

Expressing his vision, Mayol aims to bolster Glovo’s presence, expand partnerships, and solidify its status as the leading same-day delivery online retailer nationwide, catering to diverse needs beyond food.

Moreover, Mayol envisions Glovo becoming a premier tech recruiter in Croatia, fostering local talent while upholding the company’s commitment to innovation and long-term success.

Having graduated from the University of Barcelona and completed an MBA at the London Business School, Mayol brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role at Glovo Croatia.
