The meeting builds on the momentum of Prime Minister Andrej Plenković’s visit to Canada in June, with discussions focusing on opportunities to further expand economic cooperation between Croatia and Canada. Particular attention was given to energy, information technology, artificial intelligence, tourism and agrifood.
The Croatian Government said it remains committed to strengthening economic ties and creating new opportunities for businesses in both countries.
The Croatian Chamber of Commerce in Toronto was highlighted as an important link between the two business communities, helping facilitate cooperation and promote Croatian entrepreneurship in Canada.
The meeting also underlined the broader role of the Croatian business community in preserving Croatian identity and heritage in Canada while contributing to stronger economic links between the two countries.
