New Board of Directors Elected for EPCG

The Montenegrin national energy company, Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG), has inaugurated a new era in its corporate governance by electing a fresh Board of Directors during an extraordinary shareholders' assembly in Nikšić

In a significant development at the Montenegrin power utility, Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG), a new Board of Directors was elected during an extraordinary Shareholders’ Meeting held in Nikšić on Friday evening.

The announcement from EPCG revealed that the reconstituted Board will comprise Milutin Đukanović, Tahir Đonbaljaj, Neven Gošović, Zoran Miljanić, Vladimir Katić, Jovica Milanović, and Simo Jokić, marking a fresh chapter in the governance of the energy company.

The pivotal decisions regarding the dismissal of former board members and the appointment of new ones were made following the agenda set for the Assembly, presided over by EPCG’s Executive Director, Ivan Bulatović.

In the inaugural session of the new Board, Milutin Đukanović was appointed as the chairman, a role he has previously held, ensuring continuity in leadership amidst the transition.

This reshuffling at EPCG’s helm is anticipated to usher in a new era of strategic decisions and initiatives aimed at bolstering the company’s position in the energy sector, both locally and regionally.
