Terme Olimia Soars with Record Revenue

The Slovenian thermal spa group is setting new benchmarks, with a remarkable growth in revenue and a series of ambitious projects to reshape the region’s tourism landscape

In 2024, Terme Olimia, the celebrated Slovenian thermal spa group, surpassed a milestone of €50 million in revenue, marking a 5.4% increase from the previous year.

The company, which also owns Croatia’s Terme Tuhelj, reported an impressive 565,000 overnight stays—equivalent to over 1,500 nightly guests.

CEO Florjan Vasle highlighted a key development—the €5 million wellness centre, Vodian, opened last week in the Podčetrtek complex.

With 2,000m² of spa and recreational facilities, it is expected to attract 300 visitors daily. But the boldest move lies in the planned family hotel, set to be the first of its kind in Slovenia.

Scheduled for a May 2026 opening, the €23.7 million project will offer 146 family rooms, interactive children’s spaces, and direct access to the complex’s water features.

Additionally, Terme Tuhelj is set to complete a €27 million renovation, rounding off the group’s largest investment in Slovenian tourism in 15 years—€70 million in total.
