Dubrovnik to Host Pioneering Women’s Summit on Innovation and Sustainability

Dubrovnik is set to become the epicenter of women-led innovation and sustainability this March, as the city hosts its inaugural summit to empower female entrepreneurs and leaders across industries

In celebration of International Women’s Day, the city of Dubrovnik is gearing up to host its first-ever Dubrovnik Women Summit on March 7, 2025, at the picturesque Lazareti.

This unique event will gather a dynamic mix of female entrepreneurs, creative leaders, and inspiring speakers, with the aim of exploring sustainable business practices and the role of innovation in shaping a brighter future.

Under the theme “Sustainable Future: Transformation through Growth, Innovation, and Sustainability,” the summit will feature prominent leaders, including Jelka Tepšić, deputy mayor of Dubrovnik, who will address sustainable tourism practices in the city.

Financial technology expert Magda Milas will delve into the transformative potential of blockchain in tourism, while entrepreneur Ana Lisak will discuss the economic benefits of sustainable practices in hospitality.

The event also promises an interactive space where local female entrepreneurs and creatives can connect, showcase their work, and inspire one another, creating a vibrant platform for collaboration and growth.
