Itabus to Launch New Routes Connecting Ljubljana and Zagreb with Major Italian Cities

Italian long-distance coach operator Itabus is set to launch new routes connecting Ljubljana and Zagreb to several major Italian cities, including Venice, Trieste, Verona, and Milan

Starting from 16 October, passengers will be able to travel between Slovenia, Croatia, and Italy with convenient coach services, according to reports from the Austrian Press Agency (APA) and Italy’s ANSA.

The service will offer six daily connections (three one-way and three return) between cities such as Naples, Rome, Florence, Bologna, Padua, and Turin, as well as the newly introduced foreign destinations of Ljubljana and Zagreb.

In a further boost to connectivity, passengers can now take advantage of combined bus and rail services, allowing for seamless travel across Italy and neighbouring countries under a single ticket.

Francesco Fiore, CEO of Itabus, expressed his excitement about the company’s international expansion. “Our company is increasingly firmly rooted at home but is now ready to expand internationally,” Fiore stated, as Itabus moves to establish itself as a key player in European transport.
