The state-of-the-art facility is expected to be completed by May next year, with projected exports of at least €60 million in its first three years.
Jelica Ivanovska, General Director of BMZ Macedonia, announced that the company currently exports primarily to Germany and Poland, with distribution extending to other European countries. The new factory is poised to significantly bolster BMZ’s presence across the continent.
Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, present at the groundbreaking event, expressed optimism about the country’s economic outlook, pointing to July’s 3.8 percent growth in industrial production after a period of negative figures. “It’s encouraging to see positive momentum after such a long time of stagnation,” Mickoski remarked, signalling confidence in North Macedonia’s industrial resurgence.
