Zadar Connected to Munich This Winter With Direct Flights

Seasonal route strengthens Zadar’s winter tourism offer and improves links with Bavaria.

Croatia Airlines will connect Zadar and Munich with a direct winter route running from 28 November 2025 to 6 January 2026. Flights will operate twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, providing travellers from southern Germany with a convenient link to the Adriatic coast during the holiday season.

The Zadar Tourist Board says the connection supports the city’s goal of developing year-round tourism, offering visitors a chance to experience its off-season atmosphere and winter events.

The route is also expected to benefit the large Croatian community living in Bavaria, who frequently travel home during the Christmas and New Year period.

Munich remains one of Europe’s key aviation hubs, and the renewed service is set to improve regional mobility while giving Zadar stronger visibility in the German market throughout the winter months.
