Orban Pledges Support for Montenegro’s EU Membership Progress

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban announced that he and Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajić have reached an agreement for Montenegro to close certain chapters in its EU membership negotiations by December.

During their meeting in Budapest, Orban highlighted the diminishing competitiveness of the European Union in the current international climate. He emphasized Hungary’s commitment to continuing the EU enlargement process as a solution to this challenge, as reported by CdM.

“During Hungary’s presidency of the Council of the European Union, we are determined to change the situation and support Montenegro in its progress towards EU membership,” Orban added.
