Zagreb is inviting residents and visitors to discover lesser-known stories and places across the city through 31 free guided tours taking place throughout September.
The tours cover a variety of themes and locations, taking participants beyond Zagreb’s most famous landmarks. Visitors can discover hidden corners of the city, learn more about its neighbourhoods and hear stories that are often missed on traditional sightseeing routes.
The initiative also gives locals a chance to rediscover familiar parts of Zagreb and learn more about the history and people behind them. By combining guided walks with local stories and cultural heritage, the programme aims to make the city’s past more accessible and engaging.
All 31 tours are free, making the September programme an accessible way to experience Zagreb while supporting interest in its cultural and historical heritage. The diverse selection means participants can choose between different routes and themes and see a side of the city that is not always visible to everyday visitors.
