Krvavec Crowned Slovenia’s Top Ski Resort for Eighth Year by World Ski Awards

Krvavec ski resort in Slovenia has been honoured as the nation's finest by the prestigious World Ski Awards programme for an impressive eighth consecutive year.

Situated just a stone’s throw from Slovenia’s capital, Ljubljana, Krvavec enjoys immense popularity among skiers. This season, the resort is set to debut a new six-seater ski lift, enhancing the skiing experience significantly.

“This season is set to be historic with the introduction of a new, heated six-seater lift transporting skiers to the summit of Zvoh,” announced RTC Krvavec, the resort’s managing company, on November 20th. They also highlighted their readiness for the season, with snow cannons prepared and the anticipation of lower temperatures and natural snowfall.

Janez Janša, the head of RTC Krvavec, recently informed TV Slovenija that the skiing season at Krvavec is expected to commence on December 1st, or possibly a week later, weather permitting.

The World Ski Awards also recognised excellence in ski accommodation. The Ramada Resort Kranjska Gora claimed the title of best ski hotel, while the Jasna Chalet Resort, located in the same region, was deemed the best ski chalet in Slovenia. Additionally, the boutique hotel award was bestowed upon Rozka, a charming hotel situated at Krvavec.
