Leadership Transition at Rimac Technology

Executive reshuffle follows a record year as the Croatian Tier 1 supplier scales global operations.

Rimac Technology, the internationally recognised Tier 1 automotive supplier, has announced key leadership changes designed to steer the company into its next phase of expansion.

Nurdin Pitarević, previously Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. At the same time, Marko Brkljačić, formerly Deputy COO, steps into the role of Chief Operating Officer.

Founder Mate Rimac, who served as CEO of Rimac Technology, will continue to support the business as President of Rimac Grupa, while sharpening his focus on Bigatti Rimac, where he serves as CEO.

Rimac praised Pitarević’s tenure as COO, highlighting his combination of operational depth, strategic clarity and strong leadership culture. He expressed confidence that the new CEO will guide Rimac Technology through its next growth cycle and continue building a world-class Tier 1 organisation.

The transition comes after a record year for Rimac Technology, during which the company delivered thousands of battery and powertrain systems to customers and OEM partners. The performance underscored the firm’s operational reliability and its ability to execute large-scale projects for leading global car manufacturers.

According to Rimac, Pitarević and Brkljačić played a decisive role in transforming Rimac Technology from a high-performance niche supplier into a dependable Tier 1 partner — demonstrating that advanced engineering, industrial discipline and entrepreneurial speed can coexist at scale.
