Which Croatian Restaurants Were Honoured with a MICHELIN Star in 2025?

A proud moment for Croatia as its chefs shine under the MICHELIN spotlight

In the MICHELIN Guide 2025, Croatia continues its stellar culinary ascent with two new one-star restaurants—Krug in Split and Cap Aureo in Rovinj—bringing the total to 13 MICHELIN-starred restaurants nationwide.

Agli Amici, also in Rovinj, retains its title as the country’s only two-starred restaurant.

Ten restaurants—including Pelegrini (Šibenik), Monte (Rovinj), and Noel (Zagreb)—maintain their single-star status, confirming Croatia’s consistency at the highest level.

Three restaurants—Zinfandel’s, Konoba Mate, and Korak—have upheld their Green Stars, reflecting a strong commitment to sustainable gastronomy.

Affordable excellence also grows, with Konoba Pescaria (Mošćenička Draga) and K.užina (Split) joining the Bib Gourmand list, now 12-strong.

Notable individual awards went to Gabriela Filca (Young Chef), Vera Korak (Service), and Dinko Lozica (Sommelier), signalling a bright future for Croatia’s culinary scene.

This year’s MICHELIN recognition underscores Croatia’s emergence as a serious gastronomic destination, blending heritage with innovation.
