Air Serbia Hits One Million Passengers in 2025

The Serbian national carrier continues its impressive climb, reaching new heights in efficiency, expansion, and passenger trust

Air Serbia announced that it had already carried over one million passengers in 2025, reaching the figure on April 22nd—earlier than in any previous year.

The company said the milestone reflected steady growth and confirmed the effectiveness of the foundations laid in previous seasons.

The airline’s CEO, Jiří Marek, stated that they were proud to have achieved such a number so early in the year.

He said it demonstrated the trust passengers had placed in them and highlighted the commitment and effort of the entire Air Serbia team.

He added that the company had been continually improving its destination network, service quality, and operational efficiency, and that the market had clearly recognised these efforts.

Air Serbia also said it would be flying to over 80 destinations across Europe, North America, Asia, and Africa this summer, from Belgrade, Niš, and Kraljevo.

It confirmed the launch of new direct routes to Mykonos, Alghero in Sardinia, and Tbilisi, Georgia, underscoring its ambitions for continued global expansion.
