OTP Bank Crowned Best in Croatia

Leading the Charge in Central and Eastern Europe, OTP Bank's exceptional performance has earned it accolades as the best bank in Croatia, as recognised by Global Finance

In a significant endorsement of its dominance in the banking sector, OTP Bank has been named the best bank in Croatia for the third year running by the prestigious Global Finance magazine.

This accolade places the Hungarian giant at the forefront of financial excellence not just in Croatia, but across Central and Eastern Europe, where it has also secured top spots in Slovenia, Montenegro, and its home market of Hungary.

Global Finance’s decision was based on a thorough analysis of assets growth, profitability, geographic reach, strategic relationships, and innovation.

The results, part of the magazine’s 32nd annual awards, recognise top-performing institutions from nearly 150 countries and regions.

Balázs Békeffy, CEO of OTP Bank, credited the award to the bank’s resilience and customer-centric approach, especially in navigating a turbulent economic climate.

He added that the award not only reflects customer trust but also sets the bar for future endeavours.
