Croatia Shines as a Top Global Destination for 2025

As global tourism evolves, Croatia has emerged as one of the top five destinations for 2025, with new investments in sustainability and authenticity set to secure its position on the world stage.

Croatia has earned a prestigious place among the world’s top five travel destinations for 2025, according to Virtuoso, a leading operator for luxury travel. The announcement was made at the New York Travel & Adventure Show, where Croatia also received recognition for having the best pavilion, showcasing the nation’s growing appeal.

Tourism Minister Tonči Glavina emphasized that this acknowledgment underscores Croatia’s rising global profile, highlighting the nation’s strategic reforms aimed at offering high-quality, diverse, and distinctive travel experiences.

These reforms focus on sustainability and authenticity, with plans to make Croatia a year-round destination, particularly attractive to American visitors.

Kristijan Staničić, director of the Croatian National Tourist Board, noted that American tourists are drawn to the country’s safety and unique experiences, factors that are expected to bolster year-round tourism growth.

Croatia’s commitment to sustainable tourism is set to further solidify its place as a top global destination.
