The Women’s Chamber Choir Banjalučanke won a gold medal and first place in the traditional music category at the international choral competition “Nordic Voices” held in Finland. The ensemble was recognized for its interpretation of traditional music and vocal performance, continuing its successful presence on the international choral scene.
Founded in Banja Luka, the choir is known for promoting the musical and cultural heritage of Republika Srpska and the wider Balkan region through contemporary and traditional choral arrangements.
Over the years, Banjalučanke have performed at numerous international festivals and competitions, earning multiple awards and recognition for their artistic work. They represent a unique blend of tradition and modern expression, preserving cultural heritage in a contemporary way.
