Never Enough Tourism Capacities

One of the most advanced states of the former Yugoslavia, Slovenia encompasses an area of 20,273km² and has a population of 2,082,599. Its annual GDP totals 61.75 billion USD, equating to as much as 29,291 USD per capita, or 88% of the European average. Slovenia has been an EU member state for almost two decades, having joined on 1st May 2004, a month after it also became a NATO member.

Slovenia’s president is lawyer Nataša Pirc Musar, who ran as an independent candidate and a representative of the left-liberal camp, while the country’s government is led by PM Robert Golob of the Liberals’ Movement party. The Slovenian economy’s most important sectors include steel production, aluminium processing, the haulage and auto industries, wood processing, textiles and chemicals, agriculture and tourism.

Among the main advantages of the Slovenian economy is the great human potential that’s characterised by a strong work ethic and extremely competitive knowhow in performing complex tasks. It is thanks to this that Slovenia is an ideal destination for establishing SMEs, while the country has excellent potential when it comes to the construction of luxury, high-quality real estate projects of various purposes, but primarily tourism.
