Balkan Green Summit 2026 Set To Spotlight CBAM, ESG And EU Funding

Regional leaders and experts to gather in Serbia in May to discuss green transition, digitalisation and sustainable growth.

The second edition of the Balkan Green Summit will take place from May 20 to 22, 2026, at Hotel Borovi in Sjenica, Serbia, bringing together policymakers, business leaders and experts from across the region. Organised by the Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Summit builds on the strong momentum of last year’s event, which opened new business and investment opportunities and positioned itself as a key regional platform for sustainability-focused dialogue.

This year’s agenda will focus on some of the most pressing topics shaping the future of business in the Western Balkans, including the EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), access to EU funds, ESG strategies, digitalisation, artificial intelligence, energy efficiency and sustainable development.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage in high-level discussions, attend expert panels, and access educational and promotional materials, as well as speaker presentations after the event.

In addition to the conference programme, the Gala Dinner on May 21 is designed to encourage informal networking and the exchange of ideas among participants. With its expanded scope and strong regional participation, Balkan Green Summit 2026 aims to further strengthen cooperation and turn knowledge and policy discussions into concrete actions supporting the region’s green transition.
